Achondroplasia symptoms in children
- Large size head with a broad forehead
- Flat nasal bridge
- Crowded or crooked teeth
- Short extremities, but a normal-sized trunk
- Bowed lower legs
- Curved lower spine (lordosis or sway-back), which may result in hunchback (kyphosis)
- A little hump near the shoulders that goes away after a child begins walking
- Flat feet are short and broad
